EARLY TIDUS OVERDRIVES! | Final Fantasy X HD Remaster Tips and Tricks

This guide covers everything you need to know to learn each of his Swordplay Overdrive, including the fastest and most efficient way to do it.


STEPS:
1. Learn the Overdrive Mode Loner by letting your other party members escape and just skipping turns by guarding. Best done against a low level / weak enemy so it does minimal damage.
2. Equip the Overdrive Mode "Loner".
3. For every battle, let the other party members leave Tidus alone. Starting from an empty Overdrive gauge, it will require 7 turns to fill up. (Only 3 turns with Triple Overdrive)
4. The moment it is full, use ANY Overdrive --
*10 times to learn Slice & Dice
*30 times (total) to learn Energy Rain
*80 times (total) to learn Blitz Ace


NOTE: Basically after learning Slice & Dice, use Spiral Cut / Slice & Dice 20 more times to learn Energy Rain. After learning Energy Rain, use Spiral Cut / S&D / ER 50 more times to learn Blitz Ace.

You can repeat this method as many times as you want before leaving Besaid so Tidus can learn everything.

If you are already far in the game, you can still use this method since it is the fastest way of getting Blitz Ace.
