The excellent MOTHER RECORDINGS continues to serve up fresh house hits on its next release 'Afternoon Sadness.' Behind this one is ORDONEZ, who serves up two succulent deep house originals that are filled with feeling. The top Ecuadorian producer and DJ is a key and influential player in his home nation and is associated with LOST BEACH CLUB which was just nominated as DJ MAG Club #57. 

First up, Afternoon Sadness is more than six minutes of feel good house music with sombre piano chords, vocal coos and rubber kicks that are groove based and inviting. On the flip, Back Home is a slick and funky number with nice organic percussion, trumpet riffs and squelchy claps. It’s filled with summer vibes and clever little effects that really make it standout. As such it will easily make a big impact in any set. 

This is another fine release from the label and artist that will surely make many floors move this summer.
