Siren test in Garbsen, Germany on September 12, 2024. At 11 o'clock a rising and falling tone sounded for about 1 minute. The all-clear followed at 45 minutes later with a 1-minute continuous tone.

The test was carried out at maximum power, which is said to correspond to a volume of 118 dB at a distance of 30 meters. When the fire brigade is alerted, the siren is only operated at 98 dB.
