The most intimate venue I've seen Suede in yet, and the barriers were very close to the stage which resulted in a lot of close-up Brett action (he even held my hand for a moment during June Rain!). I was trying not to look at the camera as much this time round and focus more on the stage, so this is much wobblier and shaky than Lincoln from the night before. But we got This Hollywood Life, a song I remember wanting them to play when I saw them in Leeds back in 2023 (that can't have been nearly three years ago?!) and I'm so happy to have heard it. Continuing the Dog Man Star theme was the piano version of The Power, which I probably prefer as acoustic, but it's still "totes emosh" as my fellow Gen Z-ers would probably say.
