On 18th january 2012, wikipedia (en.wikipedia) went totally blacked out as a protest against the anti-piracy law which will be considered for passing by the U.S congress. This law would be a major blow on the face of the worlds largest free encyclopedia such as the wikipedia. The american version of Google also supported the wikipedia in their cause.
