In 2013 DNDi’s first innovative neglected disease early-stage research programme was launched in Latin America, the Lead Optimization Latin America project (LOLA).

10 years later, the LOLA project continues to build upon and enhance the research and development potential in the region with an international collaborative approach, rooted in Brazil.
