BILAL
Big B (short form of Big Brother) is a 2007 Indian Malayalam language action thriller film co-written and directed by Amal Neerad, starring Mammootty, Manoj K. Jayan, Bala, Sumit Naval, and Shereveer Vakil. The cinematography was done by Sameer Thahir, songs were composed by Alphonse Joseph, and the background score was by Gopi Sundar. It is heavily inspired by the film Four Brothers (2005). Big B is considered a pathbreaking movie in the history of Malayalam cinema, which introduced a new style of making and has later attained a cult following. a sequel titled Bilal (was announced by Amal Neerad on 17 November 2017 and is in pre-production.

Bheeshma Parvam (transl. The Chapter of Bheeshma) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film produced and directed by Amal Neerad, starring Mammootty in the lead role with the supporting cast including Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Nadhiya Moidu, Shine Tom Chacko, Farhaan Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, Jinu Joseph, Anagha and Sudev Nair. The movie is written by Amal Neerad and Devadath Shaji with Ravisankar credited as Additional Screenwriter. Manu Jose aka RJ Murukan has penned the additional dialogues.
The film was theatrically released on 3 March 2022. The film broke many box office records for a Malayalam film, crossing the ₹50 crores (US$6.6 million) mark in four days. The movie received critical acclaim from critics praising the performances, direction, cinematography, dialogues, and background score. As of 3 April 2022, Bheeshma Parvam grossed over ₹100 crores (US$13 million).
