Avionics hardware and software development have new development and certification rules beginning 2021 -2022, including Multi-Core Processing (MCP) per DO-254, DO-178C, CAST-32A, and AC 20-193. EASA has approved AMC 20-152A with FAA planned to approved AC 20-152A in 2022.
