DETAILS:

HCSO and EMS responded to reports of an auto v ped
arriving units located a female down after being struck by a minivan, with CPR in progress
an off duty HPD officer came upon the crash and took over life saving measures until paramedics arrived
female was pronounced deceased at scene
driver remained on scene and attempted life saving measures, She is cooperating with the investigtion
