The young guns of St Martins tamed the County Champions last night in the opening round of the 2017 Pettitts SuperValu Senior Hurling Championship on a scoreline of 0-20 to 1-14, Oulart The Ballagh Gaa Club played second fiddle to the 14 men from the Martins for most of the game, in fact the scoreline does not do justice to the superiority of the Piercestown men, back in 2014 we thought the Red & Black were on the way out, but has the hour finally arrived?
