Easiest Way to Handle Waste Wood | Processing Sawmill Waste with a Chainsaw

Описание к видео Easiest Way to Handle Waste Wood | Processing Sawmill Waste with a Chainsaw

Today I'll show you what I find to be the easiest way to handle waste wood while processing sawmill waste with a chainsaw at my portable sawmill setup. I cut a good amount of lumber with my portable sawmill and as a result I end up with a good chunk of slab waste wood that I have to manage. Using a slab rack like the one in today's video has turned out to be a great way to reduce the amount of work needed to cut up the slabs. This slab rack keeps the slabs at a good height and allows for consistent sized wood that I can load up into my IBC cages for easy transport. If there's one thing that I can always use more of, it's IBC cages. With a million uses and counting, watch as I fill one up in just a few minutes from my slab rack. With loaded rear tires in my Kioti DK40se I'm able to easily lift the load and stack it for drying. Another great tool I often find myself using a daily basis is my chainsaw. With my Husqvarna 555 auto-tune paired with a 20" razor sharp bar and chain, I'm cutting these slabs like butter today. Glad you're all here and hope you enjoy the video!
