Welcome to Bits & Biology, a channel about board games from the perspective of a biologist gamer. In this video I play through a two-player game of Primates. Timestamps can be found below in case you want to skip around.

Primates is a resource management game for 1-4 players that plays in about an hour.

In Primates you are moving your primates up the branches of a phylogenetic tree, claiming food and discovering extinct primates along the way. Waiting at the top of each branch is a different extant primate species that will earn you points and grant you one-time abilities to help you outmaneuver your opponents, earn the most points, and win the game!
