Short video of Seiko SKX779 (First generation Black Monster)

Like the SKX009 in my other video, the Monsters are modern classics. Loved or hated, they have a unique style with their shrouded bezels. They are extremely nicely proportioned at 42mm diameters and around 12.5mm thickness. They're also powered by the reliable Seiko 7S26 automatic movement. I like them so much I bought two. This and its orange brother. Please check the other video for that model (SKX781). The later versions have hacking and hand-winding movements but I prefer the first generations for their superior looks, to my eyes. ISO rated, these are true diver watches tested to the highest standards to receive the ISO rating. Many thousand+ dollar watches from Switzerland are not ISO certified so the fact you can get those from Seiko for a few hundred bucks, is a great value.
