Hammond M3 MKR Bass Foldback

This video shows a unique approach to bass foldback on a spinet. Some would rather just run the lower manual through an octave pedal. There are also some who rewire and jumper at the terminal strip of the manual. While the second of these two approaches is somewhat simple and easily reversible, you lose out on the top 12 frequencies altogether as they are disconnected.

This approach is an all-Hammond solution (no outboard gear) which keeps all treble frequencies wired in. Doing this required re-wiring 88 key contact resistance wires inside the organ.

Since I am not sure if anyone else has done this yet, I am calling this MKR (Muckelroy Keyboard Repair) bass foldback.
