Railfanning Sorrento Valley: Amtrak and BNSF Trains - 5/11/13

I hit up the usual Sorrento Valley for about 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon in May 2013. I caught the typical Surfliners, along with an unexpected BNSF freight. A few Coasters went through also, but I decided not to film them.

Train #1...Amtrak #785 rolls by right around 4:30pm with Cabcar #6907 leading.

Train #2...Amtrak #580 takes the siding in Sorrento with F59PHI #456 leading.

Train #3...BNSF ES44DC #7758 leads a real short manifest north. Nice K5HL horn!

Train #4...Amtrak #582 also takes the siding in Sorrento, led by F59PHI #455, running about 10-15 minutes late.

Train #5...Cabcar #6901 leads Amtrak train #591.

Train #6...P42DC #183 blows past the station leading Amtrak #784.
