As a considerate golfer, you should always be observant of your surroundings and respectful to your fellow competitors.

When a player has a shot that is within a reasonable putting distance to the basket, it is inconsiderate to cut across or through their putting line when they have reached their disc and are actively setting up.

This is the imaginary line that extends from their lie to the basket.

This etiquette is even more important if they are putting for birdie.

Walk around the lie and do not cut through it.
