After completion of this video you will be able to:
Differentiate between:
parotid, sublingual and submandibular salivary glands
gallbladder wall and the wall of the gastrointestinal tract
structures located in the portal tract i.e. portal vein, hepatic artery, and bile duct
filiform and fungiform papillae of the tongue
Discuss blood and bile flow in the hepatic lobule and how is this reflected on the zonation and function of the hepatic lobe.
Identify: taste buds, interlobular septum of an exocrine gland, crypts in gallbladder wall, portal tract, centrilobular venule.
