Bhante Prof Deegalle Mahinda Thera (UK) introduced a 3-part Series entitled “Essentials of Buddhist Social and Philosophy” where Bhante Prof Mahinda will explore Buddhist Social policies and philosophies. In this third and final segment Bhante explains the Kutadanta Sutta where the Buddha set forth the basic thesis of classic social democratic economics. The Sutta also establishes the Buddha’s fundamental political philosophies and his ethical issues as “animal rights” and “inner spirituality”. This Dhamma sharing was conducted on Sunday, 9 June 2024 at the Puja Hall, Wisma Dharma Chakra, Buddhist Maha Vihara, Malaysia.
