Description:
In this presentation, I'll introduce our AI Mentors as embedded, supportive design partners for graduate students in the Learning Design and Technologies program. I'll explore how mentors were intentionally developed to help students develop an understanding of AI, manage assignments, build confidence, and engage more deeply with course content will be discussed. The presentation will provide a brief explanation of our programmatic approach to AI integration, emphasizing the benefits of consistency, equity, and alignment with ASU's ninth design aspiration of Principled Innovation. I'll also provide examples of how students use the mentors to overcome common challenges, illustrating the practical and pedagogical value of these tools .
