Alright, so it's the season of turkey, and over the years I've found that the best turkey recipe is an easy smoked turkey. No brines, no layers of seasoning, just two simple ingredients, and best of all it's STILL JUICY! A good salt, pepper, and garlic rub, and a fantastic injection! This turkey can be prepped the morning of Thanksgiving, and best of all you're not taking up precious fridge space with having to brine your bird, and this allows you to have more sides prepped for the big day! Full Easy Smoked Turkey Recipe:

| Ingredients |

-1 whole turkey
-Livia's Seasoning: https://amzn.to/46fFVL7
-Tony Chachere's Creole Butter: https://amzn.to/3sJAzdm

| Instructions |

Prep:

1. Remove the turkey from the packaging and spatchock according to the video.

2. Season the bottom of the turkey.

3. Flip the turkey over, and inject the turkey with the creole butter according to the video.

4. Wipe off the excess injection.

5. Season the top side of the turkey.

6. Tuck the wings behind the turkey.

7. Inset the INKBIRD wireless thermometer.

| Cooking |

1. Set your smoker for 350º F

2. Put the turkey on the smoker, and let it smoke for one hour.

3. After one hour, check to see how the turkey is looking, and if needed rotate it for even cooking.

4. Continue letting the turkey cooking until it reaches your desired internal temperature, for me that was 160º F in the thickest part of the breast.

5. Once the turkey is done, remove from the smoker and let it rest for 15 minutes.

6. Once the smoked turkey has finished resting, slice, eat, and enjoy!
