Street Dance | The Groovaloos | So You Think You Can Dance - 2005

Описание к видео Street Dance | The Groovaloos | So You Think You Can Dance - 2005

Back before America's Best Dance Crew & America's Got Talent, The Groovaloos were brought in to perform on the final episode of the 2005 Premiere season of So You Think You Can Dance. As their first featured dance group we presented our mix of breaking, popping, locking, poetry and freestyle with a performance that went on to influence hip hop dance on TV, film and live performances.
Back then it was an all-star line-up as The Groovaloos were comprised of some of the top up and coming dancers and choreographers, including members of Jabbawockeez, Supercr3w, Killafornia, SkIll Methodz, The Beat Freaks, and more.

Founded by Bradley Rapier, this was a pivotal night for our growing Groovaloos dance family and an incredible time building community while stepping into our design through this amazing dance culture.

Big thanks to Dan Karaty and Brian Friedman for recommending us to Nigel Lythgoe & Jeff Thacker, and McDonald Selznick Associates for putting things in place.

The Groovaloos performing here were Alison “AlStar” Faulk, Lindsey “Out There” Blaufarb, Teresa “RagDoll” Espinosa, Keeley “LockNKey” Kaukimoce, Julie “Lady Jules” Urich, Bradley “Shooz” Rapier, JD McElroy, Jon “Do-Knock” Cruz, Danny “Danny Boy” Cistone, Randy “WishOne” Bernal, Rynan “Kid Rainen” Paguio, Oscar “Double O” Orosco, Steven “BoogieMan” Stanton, Ivan “Flipz” Velez, Edmundo “Poe One” Loayza, Richard “Steelo” Vazquez, poetry by Charlie “Vzion8” Schmidt
