Super Easy Super Crunchy Fried Peanuts

I cannot find any reasons not to show you how to make fried peanuts. It is crunchy, super easy to make and fresh!

**KEY TO SUCCESS**
Add cool oil at the beginning instead of hot oil. Otherwise the outside of the peanuts will get burnt and being crunchy inside
Take out the peanuts from the wok as they starts turning brown. The remaining heat will finish the cooking process


***INGREDIENTS**
Peanuts (I use red pearl peanuts)
Cooking oil
Salt and other seasonings (e.g. five spice powder)

**HOW TO MAKE**
Pick rotten peanuts out
Soak the peanuts in warm water to wash a bit. Then drain it.
Add the peanuts into a wok. Add cool oil. Turn the stove to medium to low heat.
After 1 minutes, you should see some bubbles start coming out from the peanuts. These are the water in peanuts starts to boil. The oil temperature should be around 170C/340F
Deep fry until the peanuts starting to turn brownish. Then take them out immediate. The remaining will finish the cooking process
Add the salt and seasonings
Once it is completely cooled down, transfer into a jar. They can be kept in the fridge up to 6 months.

Wok
-The wok I am using is carbon steel flat bottom 14 inches wok. The most similar I find in amazon is this https://amzn.to/2EfbjzO Carbon steel material conducts heat very well and is lighter. The most important thing is to season the wok otherwise it rusts.
