Mobile Food Bank Haul 1/27/24

Here what I got from the Moblie Food Bank this month. It was rescheduled from a couple weeks ago due to the frigid temps so grateful that they were able to do that. Usually, if they can't make it we lose that truck since the items on the truck are no longer available 2 weeks later.

The Food Bank delivers 3 trucks to our area, 2 are income based and 1 is not. This is the delivery that is not income based so it is widely used in our county and neighboring counties as well. The wait time can be anywhere from 30min to 1.5 hours from when you get in line that usually wraps around our county fairgrounds. But once they get the cars going it goes pretty quickly. Thank you to all the volunteers that make this possible!! If you need help or even just a way to get ahead and get some food in your pantry please reach out to your local chamber of commerce, town office, or local church if that is something you do. Food Pantry's are there to be used so don't feel bad about going.
