In workers’ compensation, everything goes through the adjuster – temporary disability checks, permanent disability advances, payment of orders and awards, mileage payments, treatment authorization, everything. But far too often, it seems you can only leave a voicemail for the adjuster, and then get no response. The bottom line on options really boils down to two – one, you can retain an attorney, or two, you can request a hearing before a judge.
