Wealthy Affiliate vs. Affilorama. These are two of the top ranked affiliate marketing training programs for beginning affiliate marketers and people just starting out earning money online.

They're both excellent programs, with hours upon hours of great video trainings, blogs, and other resources, so how can you decide between the two?

The key is to understand the main differences.

The first big difference comes with the philosophy of how to structure your website. Affilorama takes a category based, hierarchical approach to website structure, so you wind up with very well organized pages that look like "example.com/group1/subpage1."

Wealthy Affiliate, on the other hand, takes more of a blog based approach, arguing that blogs give more opportunities to have exact match keywords in your URLs and page titles, which trumps the ability to have a sub-page structure.

Both philosophies have their merits, and neither is "right" or "wrong."

The second big difference comes in terms of software. Affilorama supports the use of automation whenever possible, and has a separate software system, AffiloJetpack, that can help you create larger websites. Wealthy Affiliate, on the other hand, argues that automation leads to lower quality content, and focuses on the act of writing high quality blog content to rank in Google.

The big difference in my mind, however, is that Wealthy Affiliate has a much more robust community. This is a huge point in its favor, and one of the main reasons I'd choose WA over Affilorama.
