Welcome to Part 24 of our Land of the Vikings series! The time has finally come: our 40-man "Boomer Raid" army [17:33] is ready to sail and launch our first major hostile raid on Hull!

In this episode:

Blizzard Slaughter: A harsh winter blizzard hits the settlement, causing the death of many of our elderly citizens and workers, including cow herders [02:09]. This forces us to quickly train replacements, including a few valuable Heavy Infantry [00:31].

The Boomer Raid Sets Sail: We assemble a 4-ship fleet [12:42] and recruit 40 troops [18:27], mostly made up of over-60s [04:44], for the assault on Hull. The crew is named after the community [14:39] as they prepare for a 5-day voyage [27:04]. The elderly are left behind to protect the settlement [10:24].

Tragedy Strikes: One of our villagers, Sig vast, is tragically killed in a work accident [08:30], reminding us of the constant dangers of Viking life.

Population Growth: Despite the deaths, our population continues to grow, approaching 300 citizens [27:13], allowing us to build a new set of low-income houses [27:46] near the fields to ensure continued expansion.

Join us as our fleet finally sets sail and we wait anxiously for the results of our very first Viking raid!
