The Big Trout Loop in Algonquin has many variations.
This is a three‑night attempt at the 69 km route, swinging back via Sunbeam Lake. It became my longest trip yet — filled with long paddles, tough portages, gorgeous scenery, multiple moose sightings, and one brutally low‑water section I won’t forget anytime soon.

An unforgettable loop with equal parts challenge and reward, cutting through a huge stretch of the park I had never explored before.
