TREASURE - 'BONA BONA' M/V REACTION

You guys, the sigh of relief I felt like making after watching this nsnsnn I did say at the beginning that I wanted to be positive for them because this reboot is challenging and I said I thought it takes a lot of courage to making such changes but I still felt some apprehensiveness deep down (I’m anxious by nature I’m sorry nsnssnsn). And I swear, the more the song went by and the longer the MV played, I could feel the anxiety exit my body! I think the word “reboot” scared me more than anything and I was fearful they would do a whole 180, so much so that they’d loose their identity basically but I’m so relived to see that this is not the case. I was somehow expecting this reboot to be a lot more “concrete” (?) and instead of seeing it like a reboot, I would consider this to be more like a natural evolution of a boygroup who debuted with a more youngster, rebellious, free vibes into a more mature, sophisticated and refined adult concept that allows them to showcase a more “manly” energy if that makes sense. I think this evolution is particularly visible in the styling and also in the sets of the MV. The song and MV also feels like a conduced version of every style, genre, they’ve done thus far? And I really really like it! Some parts of the song and MV really reminded me of ‘Kill this love’ and so I’m considering them to be family, like cousin nsnsns Also, it feels like the line distribution was handled quite well here, I can vividly remember every members and that speaks level in my opinion! Anyway, loved this comeback, especially the bridge! The bridge is electrifying and just so good, can’t get enough of it! Also their visuals is really a bonus because wow!!!!!!!!!
