Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of the free demo of Evolve Benchmark on Steam, arriving December 18, 2025.

Evolve is an industry leading GPU benchmarking suite developed by Traverse Research, a team of former game developers and computer engineering experts who have worked with partners such as Intel, AMD, Samsung, Qualcomm, and more.

Designed to measure modern graphics hardware under real, forward looking workloads, Evolve uses native ray tracing and hybrid rendering techniques to evaluate both desktop and mobile GPUs. The benchmark delivers seven key performance scores, including rasterization, ray tracing, compute, driver efficiency, acceleration structures, workgraphs, and energy consumption.

The free demo allows PC gamers and enthusiasts to experience Evolve’s modern benchmarking approach firsthand through a fixed benchmark scenario, ensuring consistent and comparable results across systems. Advanced configuration options and additional benchmark content are available in the full version.

Run the benchmark, explore your system’s capabilities, and submit official results to compete for a spot in the Evolve Hall of Fame.
