On November 30th 2022, Athena Strand went missing from her family home. She would be found 2 days later, murdered. A suspect had already been caught and confessed to the murder. This was FedEx driver Tanner Lynn Horner who claimed that he had hit this 7-year-old with his van, panicked and killed her.
