Two years ago, one week after sharing my Maverick Club Member Bonus experience with the world (AKA my Zoom with LP!), I uploaded a bonus video! Which was the "Maverick Tribute", a 6 minute extravaganza of Logan's journey. It was since then that we knew there was also going to be a lyric video. Well, here it is! But where's it been all this time?

The truth is, this has been a very intimidating project. More so than the 24 minute Zoom video that has a spot-on animation of me talking!

Not only was this my first time doing a lyric video, but this particular lyric video was based off of the one ‪@qrmu5ic184‬ made that I showed Logan during my 2nd call with him. And I must say, it wasn't by any means conventional. You see, it's not those cut & paste lyric videos that have basic text and a random background behind it. It's much more complicated than that.

You see, QR's prototype has text appearing from the upper left, appearing from the upper right, center left, with verses being cut in half across the screen. There was a lot going on, and I wanted to include all of it so it could be as close to the original prototype as possible! And that's before getting to my own creative liberties.

Before even getting back to finally finishing this video, I had noticed that the original Tribute was very low quality. So before anything, I remastered it. Then completed the lyrics, and then going back over it COUNTLESS times to repair spelling errors, fixing the timing of the words, text alignment, and rearranging the verses as they appear on screen.

Thankfully, once I finally got past the hardest parts, completing every step and going through every re-watch & re-render was a piece of cake, although one that was tough to bite into. And now I can safely say that after 3 days of full time editing (sunrise to sunset) and however many days I spent working on this since 2021, that this is the result I'm happy with!
