Worcester: The New Midtown Mall (The Common) as of December 2024

More-or-less forced by the City of Worcester to revitalize, and upscale the tenants at the Midtown Mall, the current owners are doing just that, albeit very slowly, but getting there.
The appearance is far more attractive, with new lighting, floors, and staircases. One isn't complete yet to the lower level.
It appears to have more tenants, and better variety of shops.
Some things that need work are to complete the floors, as they are a trip hazard where only the subfloor remains (you see me trip over one such area), and lack of signage for elevator access, or obvious) access whatsoever. You had to know where it is before the mall was sold, which I did. There's also no access to the gym from it (maybe a work in progress, like the rooftop restaurant).
Overall, much better than what it was.
