Most Important Guitar Pedal to use with Ambient Sounds

Ok this might not be the pedal that you're thinking of but I really do think that a volume pedal is the most important pedals especially when it comes to ambient and experimental sounds!

If you have lots of huge delays and reverbs in your chain then things can very easily get out of control and having a volume pedal is the best way to get back that control.

The Lehle Mono Volume pedal is in my opinion one of the best pedals to do this, it uses a magnate and a sensor inside which means 1. it is VERY reliable and 2. it is VERY precise.
