We miraculously rolled in to Aspen, Colorado just as the aspens were reaching their peak fall color, and, as you can tell from the video, we were both utterly speechless. The Maroon Bells is one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in the world any time of year, but hiking the Maroon Bells at peak fall color is a truly once in a lifetime experience. We spent hours hiking the Maroon Bells scenic loop and then took the trail up to Crater Lake, and the entire hike was filled with just non stop stunning autumn beauty.
