AFOLABI BIO


Born and raised in Nigeria, Africa, AFOLABI is an all-around performer; he is a Pop/ R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and dancer.

AFOLABI is releasing his new album called ""SUPERCHARGED "" in the Summer of 2012..... His fall album ""TOP SECRET """ was released Mid Febuary of 2012........."".THE BEAST 2 ( BIGGER AND BADDER) "" was released in late 2011 while "" THE BEAST "" was released in mid 2011....Catch Me If You Can was the last album he released AND TURN IT UP in the summer of 2010 when he decided to take a brake from all of his personal issues he had with labels that wasn't trying to take his music seriously..... Anyway, In the fall of 2007 he released his first album The Future and in the fall of 2009 he released his second album Case Closed.

Since the start of his career, he has released 8 album and he has performed all around the world. He has been to London, Nigeria and other part of Europe. He has also performed in many cities and states in the United States including New York City, St. Louis, Kansas City, LA, Chicago, SC, NC, ATL and many cities in New Jersey. In May of 2010 he performed in Las Vegas at numerous venues.

AFOLABI started singing when he was 20, and has been writing, recording and producing ever since. From the first play AFOLABI's catchy hooks and seamless flow will have you singing along... CATCH ME IF YOU CAN album ""superman"" which was the single released from the album, did very good on the internet web late 2010... Now the New single "" SHES BAD"" from his new album "" SUPERCHARGED "".. Which is doing great all over world....

From smooth ballads of R&B to dirty hip hop and Pop beats, AFOLABI's versatility makes him appeal across genres and boundaries. A young Bobby Brown he mixes a thuggish remedy with a smooth soulful vibe. His songs cross boundaries, from hip hop to pop, from R&B to soul, his versatility wins over audiences from the hood to the suburbs. From the heart, AFOLABI tells stories through his music, he tell life as it is. His determination and drive, his voice and song, got him off the streets and into the hearts of his fans, give him a chance and he just might find his way into yours too.
