How To Change Facebook Closed Group To Public

Let's change that Facebook group from closed to open to the public in this quick and easy guide.

Facebook lets you create groups and change privacy and visibility. If you set your group to be private and visibility as hidden no one can see the group unless they have a link to the group and an invite. However, you can change the visibility to be public or open so that anyone can see the group. However, they will still need to request access to the group. There's no way to change the group settings to allow anyone to join after you've already made it as a private account. You would have to create a new group on Facebook. This works the same for both iPhone and Android in 2021.
