wood turning an onion bottle for olive oil

This is an onion bottle....its a bottle style from the 1670's think pirate bottle of rum... I've wanted to turn one for a long time and now I have...I may do another at some time. After my last bottle video my sister asked me to turn a bottle she could put olive oil in.... So as you can see from the video I glue some walnut together to make the blank and turn an onion bottle. the turn goes great and I plug the bottom and glue it in. The next day i fill it with vegetable oil and in a few places it seeps through the outside... no harm done it will probably swell and seal up. I'm very pleased with the results and the oil brings out the colour of the walnut.
