I made this video after watching countless players on both mine and the enemy team make the same mistake over and over again. Now this is mainly directed at Yudachi players, but your purpose in the game as a destroyer is simply not to sail around waiting for the right opportunity to torpedo a battleship for a devastating strike. I can't express this enough that if you play to capture points and spot for your team, that your win rate will improve drastically.

Enough ranting for now, in the video we have a rather easy game but with the tips and strategy I use for most destroyers we controlled the outcome of the game from the start. Each nation has its strengths and weaknesses for their destroyers and knowing those will help gain an advantage in the fight. Study your ship and build it for your play style, the American destroyers have some of the best guns in the game and as you will see in the replay they can decimate other enemy destroyers.
