The Devel Sixteen will supposedly have 5,007 in a 12.3L V16 engine for a 'track only' car. There are also other promised 'street' editions of 2,000hp and 3,000hp.

I look at all the reasons why 5,000 horespower is just not realistic in a car that's essentially a street car. This level of horsepower in the Devel 16 runs into the underlying constraints of physics.
