Autonomous greenhouse robot developed at CSRL (SOUP project)

Описание к видео Autonomous greenhouse robot developed at CSRL (SOUP project)

Presentation of an autonomous greenhouse robot, developed by the Control Systems and Robotics Laboratory (CSRL) of the Hellenic Mediterranean University.
The system provides an integrated robotic solution for automating a series of labour-intensive tasks in greenhouse hydroponic tomato cultivations, including crop monitoring, harvesting and pesticide spraying. The robot is based on a modified industrial-grade mobile vertical mast lift platform, and integrates a 6-dof robotic arm with a custom multi-function end effector along with a variety of sensors to allow navigating inside the greenhouse and performing the tasks at hand.

The robot was developed within the scope of the Soilless Culture Upgrade (SOUP) project, co-financed by the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, under the call RESEARCH - CREATE - INNOVATE.
