Hi all, thank you so much for watching and for all the love on my Stranger Things video! I knew my next video would be on Heated Rivalry because the edits and videos have absolutely consumed my fyp for the past month or so. I obviously had to jump on the bandwagon and see what all the fuss was about. Now that I have, Skip and Hollanov have taken over my life. It is truly crazy how you can be on the verge of giving up, waiting tables while waiting for acting work, and next thing you know you have completely blown up overnight. It is so inspirational for aspiring actors to keep going and I am so happy for Hudson and Connor. It also makes me incredibly happy to see queer stories gaining such massive popularity considering the mass hatred in this country at the moment.

But, with all the intense praise and widespread popularity, also comes the problematic elements and criticism. People love to bring down a show when it becomes popular. While the show itself is beautiful representation of queer love, it has already caused issues such as cyberbullying/stalking of the actors, as well as the fetishization of gay relationships. So, this video dives into the content of the show while also discussing an analysis of LGBTQ+ media as a whole, addressing the problems with the show, fans, and skeptics.
