This Australian delivered rare and Collectable Iconic Australian Muscle car, the Ford Falcon XT GT comes with a fully receipted history of work carried out on maintenance. This example has had a high-quality duco restoration matching it to its factory ‘Candy apple red’. This example comes completes with the original build sheet and all original specifications noted.

Previous registration papers have been included as well as previous number plates. With a factory confirmation certificate of the specifications (ACCHS) this vehicle shows to be matching numbers and a well worth restoration.

The Ford Falcon XT GT was a 1968 release following the XR Falcon. Driven by a powerful V8 302 engine and coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission, its no wonder this vehicle set the benchmark on performance and luxury for its competitors.

With a modern facelift from the XR Falcon, it also featured a revised grille and taillight setup and introduced the Falcon series to split system brakes, a more dynamic tyre setup and electronic windscreen wipers. In addition to a few cosmetic exterior features, the interior showcased a wood-grain dash, new carpets giving it that top-of-the-line performance edge among the other models.

Incredibly hard to find in this condition, the XT GT has rightfully become one of the most desirable Australian classics and is highly collectable today. It would make an outstanding addition to any collection.
