If you want to take big bucks, this is perhaps the best single video/seminar/idea you can watch & learn from! Doc is working on a new series of seminars on the topic of, "Conditioning." This video covers this hunting idea from the "big picture." It has to do with whitetail behavioral psychology.

This is new. This is not being taught or written about by other authors/writers or researchers. Originally, some of the key ideas Doc came up with were inspired by the timberwolves and black bears in our hunting area. In many ways, Doc's ideas here mirror how the wolves hunt whitetails in our area in Northern Minnesota.

In essence, the big idea is you — and the other hunters in your group — train, or "condition" the whitetails in your hunting area to think you are not dangerous. The result is: they are not frightened by you. They are not chased off of their home ranges during the hunting season. The whitetails will still try to keep track of your comings and goings. However, by frequently changing your stand site locations you will be able to stay close to the locations of your mature whitetails.

The advantage is: by conditioning your whitetails to feel safe while you hunt, it dramatically increases your chances of seeing and taking your mature bucks 3-1/2 to 6-1/2 years old — specifically your big bucks!

They problem is: this is almost impossible to accomplish if you have hunters in your area that wonder around everywhere. You may need to find a new hunting area. You may need to convince some of the hunters in your group to go along with this idea. You may need to stop doing drives in certain areas, or limit drives to areas that are not in the core area of where you hunt. And, you will need to put more work into your trail system.

This is a great seminar! Personally, I think this is going to become the hottest new way to hunt big bucks. Be sure to have everyone in your hunting group watch this video. You will need to have everyone agree on the changes you need to make.

At one hour and 21 minutes, this seminar is long. You will probably want or need to watch it in parts.
