Same universe as Look After You which is Canon season 5-6 storyline in the show. Just replacing Spike's role with Faith, never saw alot of difference between the Fuffy/Spuffy dynamics or much changing except for the sexuality thing if the writers went down either road lol.

So story, Faith had always loved Buffy but Buffy never returned the feelings until she was brought back from Heaven and then began sleeping with Faith, and all the events that followed leading to the final end of the relationship.
