Martin SC-13E Demo / Sound Test

Taking a listen to the Martin SC-13E, a newer model from Martin that would definitely be classified as a more "modern" take on an acoustic guitar. It has an offset S-shaped body, a unique low profile neck with no heel, and comes ready to go with Fishman electronics. The top is Sitka Spruce and the back and sides are Koa veneer.
It plays super nice, it definitely feels more like an electric guitar to me and took a little getting used too. I think Martin was probably going for a different segment of the market with this one, folks who want electric guitar playability in a well-made, high performance package!
