Ingredients for the Apple & Cinnamon Cake:
For the apple slices
- 1 Apple thinly sliced (I used Granny Smith Apples)
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Light Brown Soft Sugar

For the cake
- 1 Apple peeled & grated
- 220g Unsalted Butter (softened)
- 230g Light Brown Sugar
- 5 Medium Eggs (or 4 Large Eggs)
- 250g Self Raising Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
