How's it going guys? Welcome back a quick video just to show you guys the speed of surf shark. Okay, so before we end by the way, if you guys are interested in surf shark or if you'd like to learn more about it, you'll find everything you need in the description down below with regards to the full review and the links to pricing and discounts if you'd like to save a little bit more cash while the offer last All right. So as you can tell here, my speed is nothing too impressive. So I'm hoping that surf shark would not really decrease my speed at that much. Because if you didn't know, obviously, due to encryption, the time it takes to encrypt your traffic, a VPN will drop your speed, but a premium VPN will do its best to really minimize that speed drop as much as possible. Now, I am using the fastest protocol here, which is let me just Okay, so there it is the wire guard protocol. Anytime you see a wire guard protocol, just know that it will be the best for speed. Okay, so my initial speed is four point 68 megabits per second. And for the sake of time, we're just going to focus on download, not the upload, the upload speed is pretty poor. So let's just focus on the download here. All right. When I connected to the Italian server, I'm somewhere near the European region, by the way, I got four point 33 megabits per second. So that's roughly less than 10%, which is absolutely excellent. Anything between 10 and 20% is excellent. Any speed drops beyond 20 to 30% is still very good, not optimal, but still excellent. And the moment you go beyond 40 50%, you know, you don't want to lose half your speed. Okay, so between 10 and 30%, you can say is pretty good. Okay, so now we got a speed drop here below 10%, which is absolutely excellent, thanks to the wire guard protocol. And when it connected to the New York server four point 22, still around the 10, maybe 12% range, and I connected then to the Japanese server, which is much further away. This is where we got the you know, this is about 20 to 25% Drop in speed. And you can tell that the ping also took a huge hit because it's much further away. All right. So that's pretty much it for this video. You know, considering surf shark, considering how cheap it is. It's such a budget friendly VPN and your own, you're allowed to secure as many devices as you'd like with just a single subscription, giving me these numbers. It is just excellent. I really like surf shark and I appreciate the wireguard protocol, which makes things just so much faster, and the user friendly UI and whatnot. But we're here just to talk about the speed and hopefully give you guys a little bit of an idea of how it performs.
