While the media is in a frenzy about how unsafe Teslas are, claiming a recent fatal Model S crash in Texas was caused by Tesla's autopilot, the statistics show a completely different story. Teslas with humans drivers are twice as safe as cars in general. Teslas with basic autopilot are twice as safe again. And Teslas with full self driving (enhanced navigate on autopilot engaged) are almost 10 times safer than humans driving! Elon Musk and Tesla have published the statistics. Let's see how good they really are!
