I personally run the smaller keg inside of my Dometic CFX3 45 fridge and it fits perfectly. However, if you don't own a fridge, these kegs come with a portable cooler/ice pack. I used my small keg on a 4 day overland trip and I had cold, fresh beer every night. Super awesome. I advise you slap one of these in your overland rig!
