The Sundarbans mangrove forest, one of the largest such forests in the world (140,000 ha), lies on the delta of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna rivers on the Bay of Bengal. It is adjacent to the border of India’s Sundarbans World Heritage site inscribed in 1987. The site is intersected by a complex network of tidal waterways, mudflats and small islands of salt-tolerant mangrove forests, and presents an excellent example of ongoing ecological processes. The area is known for its wide range of fauna, including 260 bird species, the Bengal tiger and other threatened species such as the estuarine crocodile and the Indian python.
The Sunderban National Park is many things at once, a biosphere reserve, national park and tiger reserve, such is the richness of this mangrove ecosystem. What we commonly call Sunderbans is actually a large delta spread across 40,000 sq. km between India and Bangladesh. It's name means “beautiful forests” in the local language, and it is not hard to figure why. Another reasons are the Sundari trees, which are dominant in this mangrove area. Their uniqueness lies in their roots which shoot upwards for respiration, particularly during waterlogging during monsoons.

8.00AM: Journey Start from kolkata by Ac car or we can pick up from your location,Three hours and a half drive to Sundarban Godkhali, end of the road(Breakfast on the car)( Tea/coffee provide during the journey
11:55AM : Cross over to the island of Gosaba by boat and then take a car
2:00 PM: Reaching Cottage on the bank of gomor river village spend few day in peace.The beautiful landscape covered with yellowish paddy fields,mud house,ponds,and also many other things which could make anyone feel ‘nostalgic’
2PM: Lunch
4.00 P.M.:Sundarban Bird Jungle with the lovely sunset
6.30 to 7 P.M.: Local folk dance ( we will provide evening snacks with tea/coffee )
9 to 9:30 P.M.: Dinner
Day 2
7A.M.: The Time has come with an encounter to the world’s largest single block of ‘Tidal Mangrove Forest’ We board our ‘Boat Cruise’ and head towards the ‘Sunderban Jungle’ Swashing through the river, delta canals,we take you inside different wilderness.You may get to see crocodiles,wild boars, spotted deers, water monitor lizards.kingfisher or different types of birds and who knows if you lucky, you can get a glimpse of ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’ of India. Living in the natural habitat.Breakfast and Lunch will be served on the boat, Tea/ Biscuit on the boat.During this period you will visit area namely Sajnekhali ,Sudhankhali, Banbib Varani, Sundarkhali, Pirkhali, Gazikhali , Choragachi khali,Dobanki khal, Cruise through river Malta – 5-river junction Face Panchamukhali (the point where Bengal Gulf can be seen)and Dobanki Canopy walks.

4 to 5.00PM: Sunderban jungle tour end head back for kolkata
9 PM: Reach Kolkata
